CIEH Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the workplace
About the course
This is a higher level 4 CIEH course to help you understand and manage health and safety in the workplace. Subject matter is covered in depth, including safe practises and procedures and training of staff.
Who is the course for?
Managers, supervisors, senior safety personnel and all those responsible for the safety of others.
How long does it take?
The course is run over 5 full days, usually over 5 weeks. There is also a half-day revision/mock exam day, and a 2 ½ hour exam. Candidates must also submit 2 assignments (approx. 1500 words) before sitting the exam. Pass mark is 60% (credit pass 80%)
Many of our courses are held at High Wycombe, Bucks (30 miles west of London). However, we also run courses at other regional centres around the UK.
Any other information?
copy of the book - Health and Safety for Management - is provided on the course, in addition to all the course notes. If candidates also obtain a suitable training qualification, having the Advanced Health and Safety Award enables them to train others in the Level 2 Award.
