This CIEH level 2 course is a recognised qualification in the catering industry, to help food handlers to work with food safely in their daily tasks.
Who is the course for?
All food handlers, or people in kitchens, including chefs, kitchen porters, coffee staff, dinner ladies, nursing home staff etc.
How long does it take?
There are six hours of teaching, then a multiple-choice test. Courses are usually conducted over one day, but can be split over two mornings/afternoons if required. Pass mark - 20/30 correct answers.

Where is the course held?
In House offer on-site training for your staff. You pay a tutor fee, and can put up to 18 candidates on the course - the more people you get to attend the better value you receive! Additional costs include exam fee and the cost of the coursebook (if required).

Our courses are conducted in English, but a range of foreign language papers is available for candidates who would find it easier.
